London Launch Ltd. was founded in October 2000 by Public Relations specialist Will Broome who identified a fundamental need for fast-track, tailored, specialist and professional information within the events industry. Born of his own experience within the industry and his daily quest for the very best and most appropriate venues and suppliers for a variety of events from product launches to major Award Ceremonies, Will created londonlaunch.com, the essential 'Virtual' and 'Actual' consultancy for anyone organising any event, on any scale, anywhere in the world. Determined not to create ‘just another directory’, the London Launch brand aims to select, vet and endorse only the very best companies within the industry on your behalf, providing you with the highest quality at direct trade prices. World Launch Ltd. was subsequently founded in 2003, bringing our international network into play.
Chairman, John Broome CBE is one of the entertainment industry's most high-profile and respected figures and is widely recognised as the man who - through innovation and leadership - has made the single most significant contribution to the British leisure industry in recent history. Having founded Europe's premier leisure attraction, Alton Towers. John Broome staged the world's most celebrity studded event ever, The Royal Knockout Tournament in the late 1980's involving the entire younger generation Royal family as well as over 300 of the World's most famous film, music and sports stars. John has sat on the board of various organisations such as The International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) as well as educational bodies, universities, heritage sites and the BTA.
