The ecOevent rating offers londonlaunch.com user's economical means to advertise your green credentials in a competitive market; instantly understandable by clients and suppliers alike. It is an independently audited system allowing you to measure your environmental impact and sustainability; encouraging and promoting improvement. The award will be displayed on your business stationary, website and londonlaunch.com profile.
The ecOevent rating is available to anyone within the events industry including;
- Venues
- Management
- Agencies
- Catering
- Event Services
The rating is in the form of a five star recognition system, ranging from one to five stars across all three categories (Bronze, Silver and Gold).
Bronze Award
An Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) looking at a number of factors affecting the environmental impact and sustainability of your company's premises and operational running. A bronze award must be achieved before either silver or gold may be applied for.
Simply contact ec0event for the user friendly questionnaire relating to key factors that lead to the environmental impact and sustainability of your company's premises and operational running. Our ecOevent team will then assess your questionnaire and award you the relevant number of stars.
Silver Award
This looks in depth at how sustainable and environmentally friendly a company's product or service is. Submit an Environmental and Sustainability Policy, pertaining to your product or service, for rating.
Gold Award
An assessment of CSR and Re-investment across all aspects of your company, products, services and events.
After you have produced a CSR and Re-Investment Policy, an ecOevent assessor will then visit and undertake a walk-around assessment of the company, interviewing the management and employees, and observing the product and/or service offered by the company in operation.
The ecOevent rating is applied for annually to ensure it retains accuracy and integrity, and to ensure that ecologically responsible practices implemented are maintained.
